Shawn K. Miller Charged with Five Felonies 

Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Narcotics Officers have been conducting an investigation into possible illegal drug activity at a residence on Elliott Street in Southern Bartholomew County.  During the investigation, Undercover Officers developed information that led to the issuance of a Search Warrant from Bartholomew Superior Court II.

On Tuesday October 17, 2012 at 9:13 PM, Sheriff’s Deputies executed the Search Warrant at the residence.

Shawn K. Miller, 34, of Columbus, was taken into custody and charged with five felonies, including Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana over 30 Grams, Illegal Possession of Precursors, and Illegal Possession of more than 10 grams of Pseudoephedrine.

The investigation is continuing.  Additional charges and arrests may be forthcoming.  The meth lab was dismantled by Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Narcotics Officers, Clandestine Lab Team and the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team.
